GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION
We are situated at the northern end of New Zealand’s South Island – 90km south of Nelson in the Tasman region. Our property borders the Nelson Lakes National Park. For further information about New Zealand visit New Zealand Tourism.
Anglers typically fly in to Nelson airport. We can arrange airport transfers for you, either to St Arnaud (NZ$200.00 one way) or to Murchison (NZ$300.00 one way). Alternatively we are happy to assist you with rental car arrangements from Nelson airport.
For those who choose to take a flyfishing trip to another location in the South Island with their guide, all on road expenses (accommodation, food and some diesel costs) need to be paid by the angler. These costs will of course depend on the distance travelled, accommodation options etc.
ACCOMMODATION
We are happy to help you arrange accommodation to suit your preference and budget – from luxury lodge to backpacker accommodation. There are several local options – so let us know what you have in mind and we can either direct you to various web sites or make these arrangements on your behalf.
We have an overnight campout fee of NZ$180.00 per person per night which covers a delicious campfire dinner, wine, beverages, breakfast and use of all camping equipment including sleeping bags.
